Product Description

Siniat EasyBoard 6mm is a standard gypsum board for ceilings and bulkheads. It is available with a tapered edge in a variety of sizes. It can be used for taping and jointing to achieve a flush finish or for a single coat gypsum plaster finish.

FINISHING AND PAINTING

• Siniat EasyBoard 6.4mm plasterboard is installed with a M-Strip; the board is screwed into the branders (steel or timber). 
• Joints between boards consist of M Strip fitted over the board edges with the narrow flange facing down. 
• All nail and screw heads to be stopped and sanded level when dry. Paint as required.
• Siniat EasyBoard is installed printed side up, perpendicular to the branders.
• Siniat EasyBoard 6.4mm is not recommended for full skim of plasters.

General storage and, handling and installation instructions:

Storage Store in dry, flat conditions. Ensure safe stacking up to maximum 4 packs (or 3 metres). Use suitable handling equipment to avoid damage when lifting.
Handling Boards shall always be handled from the stack by two persons and then be transported vertically.
Cutting
Boards can be cut with a knife (score and snap) or with electrical saw for plasterboards.
Screwing Use plasterboard screws adapted to the metal frame thickness.
Jointing M Strip.
Sanding Jointing plaster over screw heads are manually sanded with sandpaper.
Painting After jointing, boards receive decoration.
