Product Description
Dumuzas is a revolutionary brand made from high tensile steel that has a protective metal coating of 55% aluminium, 43.5% zinc and 1.5% silicon alloy, resulting in a product with an extremely long life. Dumuzas offers superior durability and a beautiful silver finish. It is used mainly for roofing and walling in domestic applications and comes with matching accessories for a complete roofing solution.


Dumuzaz 0.30 AZ85, 8.5 Corrugated:
• Thickness: 0.30mm.
• 610mm Effective cover width.
• 700mm overall width.
Care and storage:
• Keep your Supa-Corr roof sheet dry at all times.
• If the roof sheet is to be stored, it must be stored in a cool dry environment, with the protective packaging.
• Projects more than 1 km from the ocean or 1 km from a highly industrial environment require a 6-monthly wash down. Projects less than 1 km from the ocean or 1 km from a highly industrial environment, and projects with auxiliary installations, require a 4-monthly wash down.
• All wash downs need to conform to our recommendations as detailed in our “Recommended cleaning procedures for coated steel sheeting” guidelines.“
Welding:
• Resistance spot welding, projection welding, fusion welding, MIG, and TIG welding are recommended at the relevant settings.
• Resistance seam welding is not recommended.
Fasteners and accessories:
• All screws should have rubber sealing washings which should be free of carbon fillers.
• Fasteners should be as durable as the roof sheeting.
• A minimum class 3 should be used for all Supa-Roof steel.
• If an inferior class fastener is used, the replacement of the sheet will be at an earlier interval.
General notes:
• Touch up paint is not recommended.
• Never use abrasive or solvent type cleaners.
• Don’t use rough cleaning cloths, wire brushes or steel wool to clean the roof.
• Supa-Roof steel is compatible with other materials such as aluminium, galvanised, or equivalent aluminium/zinc coated steel; however it is advisable to avoid mixing different types of material on one project to prevent the possibility of corrosion.
